I didn't go for QMAPS because MAPS is rather meaningful in another context.

Also in thinking about "QMAN", we are generally talking about
*Network* queues here, not other queues, although certainly the kinds
of issues we are addressing here have applicability to (for example)
cpu scheduling.

NQMAN doesn't exactly roll off the tongue and is hard on the eyes.
(actually the Q is rather attractive in it's own way there but I
digress)
