The IAB decided at its retreat that it will provide a notice to this list when the IAB meets to discuss adoption of drafts by the IAB.

Our goal is to provide more notice about what work the IAB is considering to the wider community. IAB meetings include a section that is open to observers and the adoption of documents will be scheduled in these open sections. In this way we hope that this will improve transparency about what the IAB is working on and offer better opportunity for early feedback on work.

Agendas for IAB meetings are set 48 hours ahead of the meeting; these notices will be posted before the agenda is set, with a goal of giving a notice of at least one week. Notices about draft adoption should be rare, though we expect to be sending one or more soon.

For the IAB,
Martin
