My real life unfortunately has not slowed down, but I'm interested in
the work :)

I think the proposed draft looks good. I would want to propose a
generic fragment syntax (e.g. #/folder/filename.txt ) that applies
unless the registration overrides it - where there's still the option
of #somethingelse for archives like DMG which have partitions.
