As discussed in the Transport Area meeting in Singapore, there are a number of proposals for extensions to QUIC, application protocols using QUIC, and other QUIC-related work items.

While the QUIC Working Group has discussed adopting a limited number of extensions in the near future, it was felt that a DISPATCH-like* forum might help to route QUIC-related work appropriately.

So, as an experiment, the QUIC Working Group will hold a third, hour-long session in Vancouver to discuss proposals for new QUIC extensions, applications, and related work not yet being considered for adoption in QUIC or another Working Group.

This session will enable people to raise their proposals, get feedback on them, and allow the appropriate Area Directors to get a sense of what work will be reasonable to continue. Such work might be adopted by the QUIC WG (when it has capacity to take on new work), another existing group, or it might require a BoF.

If you have a proposal, please list it here:

... by 2020-02-28.

Kind regards,

Lars, Lucas and Mark, QUIC WG Chairs
