RE: [AVT] TR: I-D ACTION:draft-sollaud-avt-rtp-g729-scal-wb-ext-01.txt

It concerns the G.729-based embedded variable bit rate extension to G.729 (G729EV). I called it X in the draft because the final corresponding annex letter is still not determined.

The other big ITU current work on G.729 is about annex B (VAD and silence suppresion) and is not related to the proposed RTP payload format.

I deleted your response to the query below, but ... Having now reviewed the list of contributions to the current ITU sessions related to G.729 (see the attached list), I've gotta ask: Which of the many enhancements still under consideration does this payload format refer to?
