If you mean 802.11s, I know this one quite well... It is a great way
to run Wifi for an externally routed (layer-3) mesh, fully transparent
layer-2 connection between the routers... and it's a horrible way to
do layer-2 mesh with more than 2 nodes. From a certain viewpoint it's
a AODV-like layer-2 mesh with self-denial-of-service capability. It
works with a low number of nodes because Wifi is really fast.
