Dear All,

A new version of draft-liu-6man-icmp-verification has just been uploaded.
This document introduces the mechanism to verify the data plane against the control plane and to detect data plane failures in IPv6/SRv6 networks by extending ICMPv6 messages.
Based on the comments we received on the draft for data plane failure detection for SRv6 EVPN scenario (draft-liu-bess-srv6-evpn-validation) during last IETF (https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/bess/lRLR8WTKfli3H52BDAqViwYx1gI/)
We separate the solution into the container(belongs to 6MAN) and the content(belongs to BESS).
And in this version, draft-liu-6man-icmp-verification has removed all the content part to focus on the fundamental container mechanism.
Please read the draft if you're interested in this topic and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome!

Thanks,
Yao
