Hi chairs,

I would like to request an adoption call for the draft-liu-bess-srv6-service-sid-nffrr-flag on behalf of all the co-authors.

The draft "draft-liu-bess-multihome-srv6-service-sid-flag" has been presented at IETF-116 and IETF-118 during the BESS sessions at IETF meetings. After IETF-118, we replaced " draft-liu-bess-multihome-srv6-service-sid-flag " with "draft-liu-bess-srv6-service-sid-nffr."

The "draft-liu-bess-srv6-service-sid-nffrr-flag" focuses on the by-pass loop prevention mechanism of SRv6,

which can address loop prevention for both L3VPN and L2VPN. The by-pass loop issue is resolved using a local " No-Further-FRR SRv6 SID."

No-Further-FRR Service SID has no local protection.

(Link: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-liu-bess-srv6-service-sid-nffrr-flag/)

Therefore, we kindly ask the chairs to initiate an adoption call for this draft on the BESS mailing list.

Thank you.

BR.

Changwang on behalf of co-authors
