Hi,

I’d like to make sure that what has been discussed and agreed with chairs during IDR meeting at IETF122 is well communicated.

draft-ietf-idr-link-bandwidth defines:
-Transitive Two-Octet AS-Specific Extended Community Sub-Types registry (Type 0x00) and Sub-Type 0x04
-Non-Transitive Two-Octet AS-Specific Extended Community Sub-Types registry (Type 0x40) and Sub-Type 0x04
Error handling

If, in the future - new/another community type would be needed, new draft will define such community.

Use cases of the community (e.g draft-ietf-bess-ebgp-dmz) can be described and defined in IDR, BESS or any other relevant WG, with a normative reference to the link-bandwidth draft.

Thanks,
Jeff
