The IESG has received a request to consider RFC1657 "Definitions of Managed Objects for the Fourth Version of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP-4) using SMIv2" as a Draft Standard. The original document was a product of the Border Gateway Protocol Working Group of the IETF. The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action.
