Apologies for the delay in responding - I am a victim of my own email filters. ☹
That said, requests to designated experts for other registries have never been sent with the WG copied - which is what resulted in this email not getting my attention.
Not objecting to the WG being copied - just suggesting that if you have issues getting me to respond you might try unicasting. 😊

AS far as code point allocation, I have no objection. I am assuming the next available codepoint (which would be "2") is acceptable to the authors?

Hannes, Chris, and I typically require all three of us to approve new allocations - I see Chris has responded to this but it appears Hannes has not yet responded. Please wait for him to approve as well.

I would also say that I believe the draft at a minimum is underspecified - and at a maximum is of questionable value. I am in agreement with comments that Chris has made earlier.
I will provide more detail in another thread as that is not of direct concern to the IANA request.
