Xuesong, fully acknowledged and originality of ideas overrides all other
considerations and has to be documented clearly IME.  Nevertheless, IME as
well, merged drafts (a very good thing here) benefit from clear author list
and editorship, the earlier in the process the better lest too many
feelings are hurt and unseemly wrangling ensues later. Especially, since
AFAIS this one ends up being read a lot no matter its status or whether it
really standardizes anything on the wire.
