Indeed.

This merely means that the trust model needs to include an explicit 
assertion by a platform provider, to the unaffiliated MUA, that it 
supports and enforces Bimi.  That is, an assertion that mail it 
transfers to the MUA and that contains a Bimi marketing image has been 
vetted by the platform provider.

The MUA then removes Bimi marketing images from mail transfered by a 
platform provider that has not declared Bimi vetting.

Whether the MUA chooses to trust images from a platform provider that 
/does/ declare Bimi vetting is a distinct matter of platform reputation...
