Christian, Blockchain Commons welcomes the guidance offered by CDE. Indeed, it shaped certain material aspects of the dCBOR specification, and the contributions of Carsten and other WG members on the subject of determinism, both to CDE and directly to the dCBOR I-D, have helped us ensure that our proposal is more correct, complete, and in line with IETF and WG norms and standards. For certain applications, the case for determinism is clear. CDE provides an important building block towards that goal. ~ Wolf Lead Researcher Blockchain Commons > On Mar 6, 2025, at 2:34β―PM, Christian AmsΓΌss <christian@amsuess.com> wrote: > > Hello CBOR group, > > as discussed in the last interim[1], it's time to run a Working Group > Last Call on CBOR Common Deterministic Encoding (CDE) [2]. > > This document has seen controversial discussion.
