The latest version of the dCBOR draft is now available. - Added requirement for strings to be encoded using Unicode Normalization Form C (NFC). - Updated approval status of tag 201 in the IANA section. - Added table of numeric encoding test vectors as Appendix A. Thank you Laurence! - With his approval, added Laurence Lundblade as an author. ~ Wolf > On Aug 8, 2024, at 11:31 AM, internet-drafts@ietf.org wrote: > > A new version of Internet-Draft draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor-11.txt has > been successfully submitted by Wolf McNally and posted to the > IETF repository. > > Name: draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor > Revision: 11 > Title: dCBOR: A Deterministic CBOR Application Profile > Date: 2024-08-07 > Group: Individual Submission > Pages: 17 > URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor-11.txt > Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor/ > HTML: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor-11.html > HTMLized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor > Diff: https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-mcnally-deterministic-cbor-11 > > Abstract: > > The purpose of determinism is to ensure that semantically equivalent > data items are encoded into identical byte streams.
