The progress on this spec. (and implementation) which is targeting TC39 rather than the IETF has been pretty good: https://github.com/cyberphone/CBOR.js#cborjs If you open a browser console when in the "CBOR Playground" [*] you can create some deterministic CBOR with very little effort like this sample: let cbor = CBOR.Map() .set(CBOR.Int(1), CBOR.Float(45.7)) .set(CBOR.Int(2), CBOR.String("Hi there!")).encode(); console.log(CBOR.toHex(cbor)); I'm not looking for confrontation but the fact remains: there's more than one way to skin a cat.
