I’m not sure why you’re invoking dCBOR or Gordian Envelope here: we don’t currently use or advocate for bidirectional human-readable formats for either dCBOR or Envelope. Our tooling outputs a subset of CBOR diagnostic notation, as well as “envelope notation” which operates at envelope’s level of abstraction. Neither of these are bidirectional.
