Christian, At the last WG meeting you stated that you yourself had some issues with dCBOR and “would not do it that way.” I would appreciate your direct feedback (hat off, in the role of engineer) to the list about the issues you have with dCBOR so your concerns can be addressed if possible, and if not, at least so we can better characterize the rough consensus of the group. Thank you in advance. ~ Wolf > On Jun 16, 2024, at 5:45 AM, Christian Amsüss <christian@amsuess.com> wrote: > > Hello CBOR community, > > as disussed during the latest interim[1], dCBOR is currently moving > along on the independent track. > > While this means that the document will not be endorsed by the WG, the > authors still do seek feedback of the group on the document -- > especially if you've been holding back with it waiting for other > discussions to be resolved. > > Best regards > Christian (in the role of WG chair) > > [1]: https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/interim-2024-cbor-10/session/cbor > > -- > To use raw power is to make yourself infinitely vulnerable to greater powers. > -- Bene Gesserit axiom > _______________________________________________ > CBOR mailing list -- cbor@ietf.org > To unsubscribe send an email to cbor-leave@ietf.org
