Daniele, John,
	It sounds like the December date is a "safe" date, maybe 1 or 2 more
months than we need.  As chair, I'd prefer to leave the milestone date
as December and aim to have the LC sooner (and before the next IETF) if
possible.

I'll respond to the compatibility comment in a separate message.
