Hi Tom,

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. All your comments have been
incorporated in the revision (08) except the length of the description.
YANG doctor did not raise this issue. Let me know if this is a problem.
Can you point to where I can find the character limit for the
description? The two places that exceed 90 characters in the description
were due to your comment to add IETF copy right statement.

<tp>

The limit I have in mind is the limit for all RFC, which is
72 characters, as specified in RFC7994.

draft-kwatsen-netmod-artwork-folding is intended to be a BCP which helps
here.

In -07, description clauses, such as
         "LW-PMD-clause-52 Optical Interface function for 10GBASE-W
PCS-49-WIS-50";
are too long but I think that this is fixed in -08 although it is quite
tight. I am not sure where you start counting from.

However, I think that the comment line
      /* optical interface func needs to expand for Fiber Channel, SONET
and SDH */
is still too long

The other changes look good (but I have not read parts of -08 yet)

Tom Petch

Thanks.
Young

Another stray thought

there are no reference statements for the imports which I think there
should be e.g.

  import ietf-yang-types {
  reference "RFC 6991 - Common YANG Data Types";
  prefix "yang";
  }

  import ietf-l1-service-types {
  reference "RFC XXXX - A Yang Data Model for L1 Connectivity
          Service Model (L1CSM)";
    prefix "l1-st";
