Hi Jonas,

Thank you for the question. For this draft we aimed at not create controversial issue with wson-iv-info and wson-iv-encode, although we are reminded that some issue detected. The impairment scenario and framework was specified in RFC6566, and we target on corresponding YANG model. I assume it is a complementary with existing work, rather than ‘totally different approach’, so we are going to reference to existing work in future version.

At this moment we are working is to coordinate with existing IETF drafts and ITU-T application code, and we expect an update in next version.

Best wishes,
Haomian

Hi Young and Haomian,

Interesting draft. What is the relation to other WSON impairment drafts (wson-iv-info and wson-iv-encode)? Are you proposing a completely different approach here since you do not refer to those drafts?

/Jonas
