The topic seems to be in scope for CCAMP. While we *could* consider general= ising the topic of adding FCAPS support to ACTN, and so move the draft to T= EAS, I believe it is best to recognise that the more detailed aspects of FC= APS are technology-specific and so limiting the work to optical networks is= reasonable. I'm sure there is more work to be done on the text, but it seems ready to t= urn that over to the working group. I just checked the current text= . I think it is in pretty good shape.

 

The topic seems to be in scope = for CCAMP. While we *could* consider generalising the topic of addin= g FCAPS support to ACTN, and so move the draft to TEAS, I believe it is bes= t to recognise that the more detailed aspects of FCAPS are technology-specific and so limiting the work to optic= al networks is reasonable.

 

I’m sure there is more wo= rk to be done on the text, but it seems ready to turn that over to the work= ing group.
