Hi Adrian,

              Thanks for bringing the topic up. You have depicted the history of the different attempts we have had to reach consensus. The first two documents are the ones that SHOULD be dead by now, and the new draft (ended in -gaps) replaces them. I can request to [e-mail]<mailto:[e-mail]> that the other drafts be replaced by the last one, so there is no confusion. This is fairly common in drafts that are merged between several versions.

              My intention was to reply to draft-poidt-ccamp-actn-poi-pluggable-usecases-gaps  .

              I think doing the search IPR pluggable led to the wrong email ,,,

              To avoid any confusion, I have replied to Haomian's email .

FWIW, my reading of Nigel's email from October 2023 is that it is possible that draft-poidt-ccamp-actn-poi-pluggable-usecases-gaps is "a third overarching framework draft that covers requirements and brings the two existing drafts together".

Questions.

  1.  Which of these documents is dead?
  2.  Could the authors of the not dead (undead?) documents please ask the Secretariat to set up "replaced by" information for the dead docs pointing to the new doc(s)?
  3.  Did Oscar intend to reply about IPR on draft-poidt-ccamp-actn-poi-pluggable-usecases-gaps?
