Subject: Going to Draft Standard - Implementation Experience

According to our reactivation charter, this month we are supposed to submit an
Internet Draft describing specific implementation experience. I know I asked
about implementations in the past and some of you responded. I could dig back
and get that, but some of it was a little unclear. I need the following
information:

    1.	Which of the three MIBs/RFCs have you implemented any part of:
Character (RFC 1316), RS-232 (RFC 1317), and Parallel (RFC 1318).

    2.	For the ones you've implemented, did you do all or part? Some of the
groups, for example the RS-232 Synch group, can be left out if you
don't have any ports of that type. Did you choose not to implement
particular objects? If so, why and which ones?

    3.	Are there objects that you found difficult to implement? Particularly
	useful? Particularly useless?

I need people to be as specific as they can. If you'd like to keep your
answers private, send them just to me and I'll keep names out of it. If
you're concerned that I work for a competitor, send it to Marshall Rose to be
forwarded to me without identification. It doesn't matter who did what. It
only matters what's been done.

Please respond by Friday, 25 June.
