This is a question that is asked about 2 dozen times a day by press, officials, and investors calling here. --tony We do know that there are currently 9,500 computer hosts attaching per day, about 285,000 per month. Lottor measures the announcement of hosts every quarter, and our numbers are based on a conservative mathmatical extrapolation from the Jan 95 count over this first quarter 1995. This does not account for many hosts having multiple users, or being gateways to other networks, such as closed carrier, enterprise, or on-line email providers - which has a significant user multiplier effect on the 285 thousand. The statement that there are half a million new users per month, would seem quite supportable. ----- End Included Message -----
