Not sure what part of my explanation isn't clear. What happens is that
the encoder has a per-band "inversion flag" it can use for intensity
stereo and when the decoder sees that flag, it flips the sign of the
right channel to make it 180-degrees out of phase with the left
channel. The proposal is simply to make the inversion step optional on
the decoder side, even when the flag is set by the encoder. Any
suggestion on how to fix the current text?
