Raymond, What we heard so far was a lot of unsubstantiated claims with some semi-theoretical arguments attributed to unknown exports supporting them. First of all, this is all irrelevant. Second, unless someone takes a reasonable set of different hardware, including high density gateways, soft and hard phones, and actually measures the delay for different codecs and packet sizes we will not know what the answer is.
