Hi all, We have submitted a draft on "Enhancing Security and Privacy with In-Network Computing" which can be found at https://www.ietf.org/id/draft-fink-coin-sec-priv-00.txt. This draft examines the potential of in-network computing for improving security and privacy, especially regarding resource-constrained and legacy devices. We take up different security and privacy mechanisms, for which we see realistic chances for deployment within the network and why this would benefit the current situation. We also identify current limitations and research questions to clarify in the future. We are interested in your opinions about the capabilities of in-network computing in the field of security and privacy and look forward to your comments! We would also like to request a presentation slot to remotely present the described draft, if at all possible, considering the current situation.
