All,

We have updated the draft on 'appcentres' as a take on application-centric data centres (or compute resources), as presented originally in the Montreal IETF last year.

The update focuses mainly on adding new use cases, widening the notion of an 'application' beyond just (mobile) devices but now including distributed network services etc. , ultimately listing a set of requirements for solutions for such 'appcentres'.

The next steps will update the enabling technologies section 4 along those new use cases and requirements.

The draft can be found at https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-sarathchandra-coin-appcentres-02.txt and comments are warmly welcome!

Best,

Dirk
