Hi,

Over at the IPSO Alliance we have been developing a simple RESTful profile for generic use between embedded devices as part of our interoperability work. The first version of the profile is now available for download here:

http://www.ipso-alliance.org/downloads/The+IPSO+Profile

I will be presenting the profile during the CoRE WG meeting, and we look forward to comments and ideas from the IETF community as well. This profile will be used as the basis of a multi-vendor IPSO interop and demo event right after the IETF in Paris between real devices and web applications using CoAP and HTTP. Although this first version has focused on the needs of this interop event, we envision this evolving to be a solution that compliments other application specific profiles like SEP2.
