Dear Crypto Panel members,

We've got an erratum for RFC 9180 (HPKE), which is dedicated to the
Security Considerations section.
https://www.rfc-editor.org/errata/eid7790

We would like to ask for a review of the erratum. The chairs need answers
for the following questions:
1) Is the proposed change correct?
2) Is the formulation of the proposed change clear or can it be made better
(and need discussion on the mailing list)?
3) Was the information specified in the proposed change known or considered
at the time of the document publication?

There is some discussion on the mailing list, see
https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/cfrg/JjLDc_4B7wc1dcIQ03sabj_O4fg/
We think that it is important to take that discussion into account.

Any volunteers?

Best regards,
Stanislav (for chairs)
