Dear chairs,

Support.

Determinism introduces new capabilities on which applications will rely.
This also means new threats to the application if an attack or a malfunction prevents the network from operating as expected.
We need to clarify what the new threats are and how they can be discovered and mitigated.
This document is a great step towards that goal and for that reason I support the adoption as WG document

Cheers,

Pascal

All,

This is start of a two week poll on making draft-sdt-detnet-security-01 a working group document. Please send email to the list indicating "yes/support" or "no/do not support". If indicating no, please state your reservations with the document. If yes, please also feel free to provide comments you'd like to see addressed once the document is a WG document.

The poll ends Sep 26.

Thanks,

Lou (and Pat)
