Here at Penn, we are using the ISC DHCP Server to hand out dynamic
addresses for all of Resnet, plus several computer labs such as those
in libraries where students can come in and plug in their laptop. We
have a pool of more than 8,000 addresses in 19 networks served by a
central DHCP server.

We do not use DHCP or BOOTP at all for static addresses.

The lack of DNS integration is not yet a problem for us, as the
hostname does not need to be pretty for (most of) these users.
