Hi, Henrik.  

AIX 4.1.4 and above also ship with a DHCP server, as well as a DHCP client
and a DHCP gateway (in case you're short on routers, I guess).  

And, in case it's of any interest, you can find a DHCP client for Linux at
< ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/Network/daemons/dhcpcd-0.4.tar.gz
