The IESG has received a request to consider elevating the following to
Draft Standard:

   RFC1534 Interoperation Between DHCP and BOOTP
   RFC1542 Clarifications and Extensions for the Bootstrap Protocol



The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the
iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by July 26, 1996.
