Subject: Agenda for LA
X-Listprocessor-Version: 6.0c -- ListProcessor by Anastasios Kotsikonas
X-Comment: Discussion of DHCP for IPv4
The DHC WG will meet Tuesday, 9:30-11:30AM to discuss DHCPv4 issues:
(New I-Ds)
10 min 1. Intro, administrivia, agenda bashing
10 min 2. Option approval process
10 min 3. Reservation of option 127 as a prefix for two-octet option
codes
10 min 4. The FQDN option code
20 min 5. DHCPv4 Renumbering
20 min 6. Server-server protocol
20 min 7. DHCP-DNS interaction
20 min 8. Authentication and verification of DHCP messages
We also have an item left over from the Dallas meeting concerning
allocation of subnet addresses for dialup subnets via DHCP.
This is a tight schedule. If you have *any* input to get on the table
prior to the WG meeting in LA, it will help us move through the agenda on
schedule. In particular, unless there is discussion at the WG meeting on
items 2-4, I'll consider the associated I-Ds "approved" and enter them into
the standards process. As the last agenda item affects both DHCPv4 and
DHCPv6, it can slip to the Tuesday evening session if necessary.

to the mailing list so I can ensure that it is forwarded to the list.
