Connectathon is a not-for-profit interoperability testing event sponsored by SunSoft, Inc. Over 30 participating companies annually send development engineers, with machines and source code, to test and debug products which utilize the following technologies and protocols: NFS, NFS over TCP, WebNFS, PPP, DHCP, IPv6, ATM and ONC+ technologies including NIS+, Lock Manager, TI-RPC and Automounter. Connectathon 97 will be held at the South San Francisco Conference Center in South San Francisco, CA from Feb. 26 through March 6. Testing continues 24 hours per day. Technology coordinators will organize testing procedures and test suite material. In addition, there will be seminars with speakers addressing various topics.
