I have been using the WIDE software in stability testing of DHCP quite
successfully. It is a simple but effective package. I have had trouble
configuring multiple DNS servers and multiple WINS servers in the database,
however.

Has anyone tried to use shareware DHCP? There is one from ISC which is
Beta 0, and another one from Carnegie-Mellon (3.3.6)?

I couldn't install the one from ISC. It takes a real UNIX hacker to setup
system dependent headers (currently this distribution comes with very few).
I need the one for Sun/OS 4.1.3-4.1.4 and another one fro Solaris
2.4-2.5. If anyone came up with something, I would appreciate it.
(I'm not a UNIX hacker).

Currently I'm trying to install DHCP server from Carnegie-Mellon.

Thanks for any feedback.
