Is anyone aware of any studies done on network traffic related to dhcp?
How does the lease time effect traffic?
How can dhcp be used as a tool in re-addressing a network? (no dhcp present
at this time)
What are the pro's and con's to centralized vs. decentralized?
The environment I'm working in may eventually have 30,000 nodes using dhcp!
I'm concerned with clients not being able to get an ip address when the
nework is down or the server is down, what are you doing to eliminate this
problem?
Are you centralized ?
Are you decentralized?
What os are you using?
NT,OS2,Unix (aix 4.1.4)
WHY? WHY? WHY?
