The IESG has received a request from the Dynamic Host Configuration
Working Group to consider

  1. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
	<draft-ietf-dhc-dhcp-07.txt>

  2. DHCP Options and BOOTP Vendor Extensions
	<draft-ietf-dhc-options-1533update-04.txt>

for the status of Draft Standard. They are updates to RFC1541 and RFC
1533 respectively.


The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the
iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by July 2, 1996.
