Cisco's DHCP server allows you to combine multiple address pools from different logical subnets in to a single large address pool. This allows the "giaddr" to select the "large" pool. The DHCP server is included in the Cisco DNS/DHCP Manager product and the Cisco Server Suite 1000 product. Both of these are currently available for Solaris, HP-UX and AIX. The DHCP server is also available for OpenVMS in the Cisco MultiNet for OpenVMS product. You can find out more information about the product and download an evaluation from http://www.cisco.com/dnsdhcp.
