In response to concerns expressed by the IESG about the implementation status of the "User Class" option, I've moved that option to a separate Internet Draft. The "User Class" option will be submitted for acceptance under the new rules for defining DHCP options (as given in the DHCP options doc). You should see a notice about publication of the new "User Class" Internet Draft soon, and we will discuss the option at the DHC WG meeting in San Jose. After the WG meeting, I will submit the Internet Draft for acceptance as a Proposed Standard. BTW, please be thinking about agenda items for the San Jose meeting... - Ralph
