X-Comment: Discussion of DHCP for IPv4

I would like to replace this text in the DHCP FAQ:

> 11. Can a DHCP client update its DNS entry through DHCP?
>
> No. There has been some discussion about adding this ability to DHCP.

Here is my draft for the question and answer to replace this:

I have written this so as to beg the question as to whether the DNS
will receive its information from the DHCP server, or from the DHCP
client. My questions:

a) Has my clever phrasing left out a possible method that is receiving
   consideration?
(The DNS server could poll the DHCP server once a second; or the
DHCP client could kick the DNS server to ask the DHCP server for
the current address; these ideas seem kooky to me, but I mention
them because they do show that things could be accomplished in
    other ways)

b) Am I right in framing this as a "DNS enhancement"? I.e., a standard
interface will be added to the DNS, then the DHCP developers will
   implement it.

c) Is there more specific information that I could add? E.g. perhaps
it is now clear that the communication in question will be between
the DHCP server and the DNS server. (I seem to recall that IBM's
solution was to have the client update the name & the server update
   the address)
