Dear sir, I'm studying how does dhcp works and I have two easy question. 1) Is it possible with a dhcp server to explain to a client to use a proxy and what proxy must be used ? 2) suppose my computer where commonly inside a network with its own fixed statically ip address and that one day I had the necessity to set it to obtain settings from a dhcp server: what would happen the day I'd go back to old settings? Should I reset all because dhcp settings commonly override previous settings or my system just ignore previous settings and just use the one it receive from server so that the day I would go back uncecking "automatically obtain ip address from dhcp server" it will remember everything?
