I already indicated (twice) that I was likely the source of the current names (though I believe I suggested BOOTP, not BOOT, because that was the protocol). Not all my ideas are good and sometimes what looks good at first turns out to be poor when seen in more context or given more thought.

On reflection, I think we should revert it to something that has
DHCPV4 in it - it is less confusing and it is much easier to read than BOOTREQUESTV6. I like DHCPV4-REQUEST/DHCPV4-REPLY.
