Hi:

It has been a while since this WGLC ended and as both Tomek and I are co-authors, Ralph will be doing the evaluation and sending out a notice.

However, I just wanted to update folks on where this work standards from the co-authors viewpoint:

1. We received LOTS of WGLC comments. THANKS TO ALL THAT RESPONDED! This (in my mind) was the BEST WGLC we've done in a long while and the breadth and depth of reviews was FANTASTIC. Again, thanks to all that did comment - it was GREATLY APPRECIATED.

2. However, because we received LOTS of comments, it is taking a while to work through them:

a. We are tracking about 300 comments in all (on a Google sheet). While many are smaller nits, there are plenty that will require reworking material or making some changes.

b. Anything that we feel requires more feedback from the WG will be raised to the WG (we already have had several of those on the WG mailing list). These issues will also be tracked on the issues tracker (https://trac.tools.ietf.org/group/dhcpv6bis/report/1).

c. We are holding periodic co-authors meetings to review the items and determine/assign actions.

d. The comments are really great and will significantly improve the final document.

3. My personal goal is to get the updated document out before the Seoul IETF, but that is now just about a month away and it may be difficult to finish by that time (we probably have addressed about 33% and reviewed about 50% of the 300; some that remain are duplicates).

Again, thanks to all that commented!

- Bernie
