When dhcpd.conf has the following: ..... range 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.10 ....... host test { hardware ethernet 00:10:e0:04:ad:89; fixed address 192.168.1.6; } Assuming the host "test" was offline..........and If 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.5 and 192.168.1.7 - 192.168.1.10 are all taken by online clients, will dhcpd hand out .6 to a request from a client other than "test"?
