=> DHCPv4 (and unfortunately DHCPv6 too) has a lot of strong constraints
on its usage environment because it has to work from no knowledge at all
(first no IP address...). My concern with the "information mode" of
DHCPv4 is these constraints remain. I believe you have the same concern
but you use a very different wording for the same result: "a suitable
approach must not be limited to only supporting softwire configuration".
