If one of the options here is for you guys to take your marbles and go  
home, I'd be all in favor of that - I don't see this converging on a  
good solution, and I'd rather that we have no solution for now than a  
bad solution - we can always try again later.   You guys remind me of  
a first-time motorcycle passenger who freaks out when the bike leans  
over in a turn, and tries to get it to stand back up.
