Note that this e-mail was essentially unreadable because it is
difficult to keep straight what is being quoted (from whom?) and what
is Jim's new text.  Use the ">" convention for quoting previous
messages!

However, this does lead me to be able to phrase what I am still
unclear about:  What is it that you're trying to accomplish?  In what
way does SIP form a part of this project?

I notice that your messages are written from the point of view of
someone who is immersed in OpenBTS.  Remember, to a first
approximation, nobody here knows *anything* about OpenBTS, and a large
majority know little or nothing about IMS, 3GPP, or anything else
about the cellular infrastructure.

Have you settled on a technological structure for this project, or are
you at the stage of having business goals and still exploring
technologies?
